Brown Davis Holden Commodore VE

  • Car is a VE Series 1 commodore that was bought from Newcastle.
  • We stripped the car and built it specifically to the IPRA National rules
  • Brown Davis Roll Cage- “National spec” CAMS competition cage with Chro molly and mild steel
  • Engine is a L98 6 Lt Chev built by Ian Tate with Higgins race heads and Daily Billet aluminium dry sump
  • Brown Davis custom stainless-steel exhaust
  • Gearbox is a T56 Magnum with Tilton twin plate rally pack clutch
  • “Brakes and More “completed all the custom Brake and clutch lines throughout the car
  • Diff is a “Kazz” centre differential
  • Brakes are Ap Racing brakes 6 Pot Fronts and 4 Pot rears and are the same size as a V8 supercar (These where bought from V-Sport)
  • The rotor hats where custom made by Ron Harrop and then treated for hardness
  • Custom Brake ducting has been fabricated by Brown Davis
  • Racetech Seat- Carbon composite RT9119- Brown Davis supplied
  • Harness- Schroth 6 point- Brown Davis Stock
  • Gary Row Motorsport wired the entire car with full Motec electrics and a C125 Dash cluster held in place with a 888 racing carbon mount
  • PWR radiator has been made same as a V8 supercar to fit into the VE standard mounts
  • Electric power steering pump has been utilised for the standard steering rack in the car
  • Koyo 18”wheels have been supplied by Traction tyres Rowville
  • Adjustable front and rear sway bars have been used in the car supplied by MRX New Zealand
  • Speed Pro Dandenong supplied all the Oil / fuel lines for the car
  • McCall communications in partnership with ICom radios keep the team in touch with the driver
  • Signage on the car has been done by Jay Mac from “Immaculate images”
